SGM Speak-out!-

Since we were getting quite a collection of poetry going here on the main page, I made a seperate page for it. If you would like to add a poem, story, sentiment, or essay (i.e. any form of written literature) please add it here. The more the better! Speak out for Gay Marriage!

SGM Supporting Wikis-

Other elftown wikis that support gay marriage are listed here. This stemed out of a dispute that I would like to to have to have again. If you have a wiki that supports gay marriage, feel free to add it here.

Hope: For those who Support Gay Marriage-

2007-11-25 [Balthizar]: *glomps Kura* xD

2007-11-25 [Kuramasgirl]: Of course it sounds good. XD
:D HURRAY!

2007-11-25 [Balthizar]: Woo!

2007-11-25 [HiddenFire]: It's late but yes, you can ask me a question. But just one and you've just used it. :P

2007-12-10 [Balthizar]: Can I get some people to go to my Diary, adn give me the opinions of what they think of whats in the first entry there? Please? It's important. Kinda what I want to look like..xD

2007-12-11 [†Sweets†]: on it!

2007-12-12 [Balthizar]: Anyone..have any support links or anything? For like, if your getting kicked out?

2007-12-12 [HiddenFire]: The only thing you can do to keep from getting kicked out is to stop doing what you did to make them threaten to kick you out. Not much other than that.

2007-12-12 [Balthizar]: It's kinda too late now. I cant take back, what they've learned.

2007-12-12 [Kuramasgirl]: I feel like I've missed something...Kicked out?

2007-12-14 [†Sweets†]: What you tell them?

2007-12-14 [Balthizar]: I told them, that for the past 9 years, I've been planning, and researching on what it would take to get genital reconstructive surgery done. (I beleive thats the term, there was like, 4 of them. T_T;. Why do people make things hard?) Problem is..it would cost alot of money(Something my parents horde) And, it's agianst their religion.(Something I droped when I was 15). I've got till Febuary 29th now to find a place. As far as they are concerned, I've commited one of hte greatest sins possible.

2007-12-14 [HiddenFire]: Ah... getting kicked out of your house! I was thinking "getting kicked out of ET"... and was wondering how you where still here.

Get a job, get a dirt cheap car (a geo metro gets 58 miles to the gallon and the bluebook value of one in good condition is $600 tax title and license). Live it it if you have to. Find a place to live, make ends meet, try to make something of yourself so you can afford the surgery you want.

Me personally, I think people need to learn to love themselves the way they are. What you're planning is dangerous and unnecessary. But then again, if you think it would make you happy, you owe it to yourself to try it. The problem is, you can't go back. It's healthier, safer, and cheaper just to learn to love yourself as you are.

Now, I'm not sure what you're actually planning. Is this simply an enhancement (Making it bigger/smaller/rounder/etc...) or is this a sex change operation. Either way, I stand by the same advice. I just wanted some clarification.

2007-12-14 [Balthizar]: All or none so...the last one. I know it's dangerous, and I'm not going to get anyhting done, till life has calmed down a bit, and I have a place to live.
But to be honest, I cant the wa I was born. I feel like wrong, and just, nasty like this. Like something..is out of place or just wrong. Something my parents cant seem to grasp. I get ill, just going to the bathroom, or showering. I cant look, or touch myself, without getting quesy. (Not touch myself like that gutter minds. Ew, no.) As far as I can remember, I've always felt like this.

I totally agree with people trying to learnt o live with themselves as they are. But sometimes, it cant be done.

2007-12-14 [Balthizar]: As for getting kicked out of ET.
I am too epic, to get kicked out of ET. (Not really, I love my ET guards. ^-^;;;)

2007-12-15 [Kuramasgirl]: I think you're going to just have to work hard to find yourself a place to live, basically. And then keep saving, saving, saving. It sounds as though you're going to have to work for every penny.

I actually support your decision to want the operation. If it's that troubling to you the way you are, then I think it would be healther to get the operation. Healthier for you mentally, anyway. I've heard of people who felt the way you do, got the operation, and were happier with themselves for it. So go for it, but it's going to take a ton of hard work.

2007-12-15 [Balthizar]: Thanks. ^-^
I work for Baskin Robbins now. Not great pay, but it's solid decent pay.
Sad thing is, my grades were never all that great, and I'm really only good at poetry, singing, and sometimes if I try, art.
T_T.

2007-12-15 [Kuramasgirl]: Is it just poetry, or can you write stories and things like that as well? Because maybe you could get into magazines...But I'm foggy on that business, so I could be completely wrong and you might have to have a ton of requirements I don't know about. >>;
I don't want to suggest sitting on a street corner and singing. XD I have a feeling that wouldn't be a good idea...
But at least you have some pay going right now. That's better than nothing. >>

2007-12-15 [Balthizar]: Poetry, but I write stories and short stories as well. (Got some in my diaries ><). Half decent. I'm hoping to put a bunch of my short stories together for my 3 man rp characters. Balthizar, Zonde, and El'iel. (The last one is new though. <3<3)
It is, and I'm hoping I can get a better one soon.

2007-12-15 [HiddenFire]: With my being an artist and my wife being a writer I can pretty much tell you that either choice will most likely lead to your being extremely poor.

Magazine publishing isn't a bad route though. They can make half decent money. The most accessable way to money, however, is to work your way up to being a manager of some retail store. It's not crazy amounts of money but you'll at least be able to save up a little bit at a time.

As for your issues with your own body. I really can't say much about that. Many people are disgusted by their own bodies (I think most women are actually... but that's another issue altogether) but I would imagine that a very small percentage feel the way you do.

I'm still stand by my statement that you shouldn't have to change. But like I said, if it might make you happier, you owe it to yourself to try it. At least you know the possible consequences. Obviously, if you're willing to risk all that, then this is very important to you. So yeah, I think you owe it to yourself.

2007-12-15 [Balthizar]: Right now...I'd give anything asked of me, to feel like I should.

2007-12-15 [HiddenFire]: So if a demon showed up and said "kill 27 puppies by strangling them with your bare hands then shoot each one out of a t-shirt cannon at small children riding bicycles and I'll give you anything you want." Would you agree to his terms?

I've got to admit, I've got wishes that strong. So I suppose I can somewhat understand such a desire. But then again, I'm demented, as evidenced by this very comment. Now that I think about it. That sounds like a good idea for a poll.

2007-12-15 [Balthizar]: Make it Spiderman that I get strangle and shoot at the children, and you have a deal.

2007-12-15 [HiddenFire]: Spiderman? @.@

2007-12-15 [Balthizar]: I hates me a spiderman xD

2007-12-24 [*(.Randi.)*]: <img:stuff/sm-gif.gif>Happy Chrisolstahanakwanzica!

2007-12-29 [HiddenFire]: That might still offend atheists. In which case it's "Happy Nothing".

2007-12-29 [Linderel]: How about 'Happy Midwinter'?

2007-12-31 [†Sweets†]: o.0

2008-01-01 [Zab]: Err.. offend? Why would anyone being offended by a merry christmas/whatever/new year wish? I'm not christian, still I'm not offended b someone wishing me a good time.. O_o

2008-01-01 [Balthizar]: People are people though, and you will find someone who will take offense to anything, just for the sake of trouble.

2008-01-01 [Zab]: And you must of course change yourself and the way you act and talk because there is a chance that someone might happen to be one of those few?

2008-01-01 [Balthizar]: Oh heavens no, please dont. I'm just saying why it was said that might offend someone.

2008-01-01 [Zab]: *shrugs*

2008-01-01 [Kuramasgirl]: It's called being "politically correct" and it's really rather silly. :P It's all over the place here. If you ask me, I find that more offensive than if someone came up to me and wished me a Happy Kwanzaa or whatever. I'm Christian, but I really don't care if other people are saying Happy Hannukah or whatever they celebrate. :P

2008-01-01 [Balthizar]: Cheerfull Holiday season is my motto.
Or, if the person seems to become disgruntled by that, i follow it with a
Bah Humbug!

2008-01-02 [†Sweets†]: I have a saying for things like this... wanna know what it is?

2008-01-02 [Balthizar]: Get over it?

2008-01-02 [*(.Randi.)*]: Ok, shoot.

2008-01-02 [†Sweets†]: It offends me when people can't say what the want to say because someone might get offended.

2008-01-02 [Zab]: Politically correct is boring :P
We used to have it, but it can't be that bad or else those radiopeople wouldn't be able to swear..or..talk about anything at all..x) Prejudices in every word...

2008-01-02 [†Sweets†]: yeah...

2008-01-03 [HiddenFire]: I was actually joking. You are right though, political correctness is a disease. It's got the entire world in a strangle hold and everyone is afraid they're going to offend someone so we all keep our mouths shut. That being said, I think this and future generations are beginning to see this trend and are starting to lighten up a bit.

Most of the militant Atheists that I've known are old people who are hardened by years of persecution... the younger crowds tend to be a little more understanding. Realizing that when most people say "Merry Christmas" that they barely even mean it, let alone mean it as a slap across the face with a big ole' "Hey I'm Christian, DEAL WITH IT!" proclamation.

2008-01-29 [donezo]: ive been gone for sooooo long....how goes it in the march of rights??

2008-01-30 [*(.Randi.)*]: Oh, I can't make "the march". I'm feeling a little queer tonight.
^^'

2008-01-30 [†Sweets†]: o.0

2008-01-31 [donezo]: ...?

2008-01-31 [Balthizar]: 2008-01-16 hanny_fi: "If homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work: 'Hello. Can't work today, still queer'"

Make more sense as to why GotLO said that?

2008-02-01 [†Sweets†]: it was funny!!!

2008-02-02 [donezo]: yea...ill go for that...

2008-02-10 [*(.Randi.)*]: *bows* thank you Belthizar, for explaining. :) I'm glad someone understands me!

2008-03-30 [*(.Randi.)*]: *grin* Nope....the light fixture.

2008-03-30 [The real life Bella Swan]: Don't have a ceiling fan?

2008-04-01 [*(.Randi.)*]: Yeah I do...but it fell down.

2008-04-08 [donezo]: that sounds painful

2008-04-09 [*(.Randi.)*]: Hahaha but it didn't land on me...thankfully!

2008-04-09 [The real life Bella Swan]: Yeah, that would have hurt . . .I know, I've had one fall on me

2008-04-09 [*(.Randi.)*]: Really? Ugh....did it break you leg or something?

2008-04-10 [The real life Bella Swan]: No, fell on my chest. Knocked the wind out of me and my boobs were sore for several days, but no broken bones.

2008-04-10 [*(.Randi.)*]: Oh my gosh...ouuuuuuch! Just thinking about that makes my boobs hurt!!

2008-04-10 [The real life Bella Swan]: Yeah . . . it hurts

2008-04-16 [donezo]: well you probably would have broken your ribs if your chest protection hadnt been there

2008-04-16 [†Sweets†]: LOOK!!! I CAME BACK!!!
What I miss?

2008-04-17 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: *laughs softly at [The real life Bella Swan]* Well...if I was around when it happened I could make your boobs feel better...really I could :)

2008-04-17 [donezo]: hmmm.....thats uh...interesting

2008-04-18 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: *shifty eyes* I'm not shallow, I swear :D

2008-04-18 [The real life Bella Swan]: *cuddles you* No, you're not.

2008-04-18 [†Sweets†]: o.0 what is going on in here?!

2008-04-20 [Balthizar]: Things best not mentioned among mixed company.....xP

2008-04-20 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: My friend's saying "don't do anything I wouldn't do", my response "Why not? its fun" =D *licks [The real life Bella Swan]

2008-04-20 [The real life Bella Swan]: *pulls on [The Chronicles of Faelan]'s tongue* Don't stick it out unless you're gonna put it to good use. It's niether efficient, nor ethical.

2008-04-21 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Well, I did just lick you didn't I? Though unless you wanna drop your pants in front of everyone so I can lick you in a more convenient place, I suggest you don't give me thoughts like that :P *Bites [The real life Bella Swan] on the neck, very hard*

2008-04-21 [donezo]: well now...things are definitely getting...heated...in here...

2008-04-21 [The real life Bella Swan]: *wacks [The Chronicles of Faelan] across the face with a rolled up newspaper* Not nice

2008-04-21 [†Sweets†]: oh my dear lord...

2008-04-22 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Awww come on.........you know I love you :) and you know you love me right back. The more pain you inflict the more clear it is that you love me :P (*sigh* love is such a beautiful thing isn't it? =D)

2008-04-22 [†Sweets†]: I'm so confused...

2008-04-22 [The real life Bella Swan]: Don't worry about it. We've known each other for quite awhile

2008-04-22 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: meh I'ma stop talking now...

2008-04-23 [†Sweets†]: very good then ^^ why are you going to stop talking now?

2008-04-23 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: lol, cause everyone is quite clearly disturbed by my comments :P *Slaps [The real life Bella Swan] on the butt with a frozen sausage* :D

2008-04-23 [†Sweets†]: lol nice

2008-04-23 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Or even better, TURKEY SLAP! *pulls out a thawed out dead turkey* :D :D :D

2008-04-24 [†Sweets†]: *backs away slowly*

2008-04-24 [The real life Bella Swan]: *hides behind [†Sweets†]*

2008-04-24 [†Sweets†]: *eyes widen and looks at merely me* what are you doing???

2008-04-24 [donezo]: *Lights, Camera, ACTION!*

2008-04-24 [The real life Bella Swan]: *is still behind [†Sweets†]* Hiding from the one with the giant dead turkey

2008-04-24 [†Sweets†]: *looks around and whispers in merely me's ear* there's a wall over there, we can hid behind...

2008-04-24 [*(.Randi.)*]: *is hiding behind the wall already*....*with a dead turkey*

2008-04-24 [†Sweets†]: o.0 *looks at merely me* We're dead.

2008-04-25 [TwiztidYoshi03]: Day of Silence tomorrow.
DO IT!

2008-04-25 [†Sweets†]: ...do what?

2008-04-25 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Its Anzac day, the anniversary of the end of World War 1, very significant time for Australians and New-Zealanders. Both Australians and New Zealanders stuck together through thick and thin throughout the war. In fact an interesting fact, they landed on an island and tried to flank the turks up the hill, though little did they know the Turks were waiting for them at the top, annihilated our forces and sent us running back down the hill.
Though they used an interesting method that to escape. They were pinned down under enemy fire and couldn't move without being shot, so under cover of night, a few men opted to stay behind, using nothing more than a funnel, a bucket, a piece of strig and a rifle they used the funnel to drip water into the bucket which was tied to the trigger of the rifle. When the bucket was too heavey it'd lower, pull tight on the trigger. This was repeated countless times until all our troops were evacuated.

2008-04-25 [†Sweets†]: an rp

2008-04-25 [The real life Bella Swan]: Day of Silence. The whole theory of the day is to take a day of silence to stop the spread of hatred and ignorence through words therefore "silencing" all the painful bull crap people say. Happens every April 25th.

2008-04-25 [†Sweets†]: ...so it's not an rp?

2008-04-25 [The real life Bella Swan]: What the day of silence thing? No. Ther's actaully a website for it, though I'd have to look it up if you wanted it.

2008-04-25 [†Sweets†]: um... sure?

2008-04-26 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Actually m'dear, its only a minute's silence the whole purpose of it is to remember the 30 odd thousand men who gave their lives to protect their country, in galipoly itself the Australian force lost 26 000 troops. The minute of silence is in honour of those men, most of which were no older than I am,some even pretended to be 18 for the conscription so that they could go to war. Was much different to wha they expected.
And nope, not an rp, I assure you, look up "Anzac Day" on wikipedia or google, trust me, you'll find loads of information on it.
*Whacks [The real life Bella Swan] with another tuna fish* midear, you must learn Australian History, the question is do any of you know what ANZAC stands for?

2008-04-26 [†Sweets†]: *relieved sigh*

2008-04-26 [The real life Bella Swan]: No. The reference that [TwiztidYoshi03] was making was to what I was talking about.

2008-04-26 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Australian
New
Zealand
Army
Corp

That's what anzac stands for, we also eat anzac biscuts, but I'll explain about those later...hehe my birthday tomorrow ><

2008-04-26 [†Sweets†]: I like New Zealand ^^

2008-04-26 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: I like Australia, goes without saying, I live here. :P

2008-04-26 [donezo]: Kangaroos are badass

2008-04-26 [†Sweets†]: I'm in the US ><

2008-04-27 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Well...not everywhere in Australia has kangaroos, but yes they are cute. I prefer the tasmanian devil though, (I am in Tasmania)

2008-04-27 [donezo]: oh sweet...so is tasmania part of the nation state of Australia or is it its own country

2008-04-27 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Tasmania isn't even classified as part of Australia, in fact ifg you were to go to the mainland and ask where Tasmania was, half the people up there wouldn't even know...we're a small state beneath Australia, the only island state. We're incredibly insignificant...

2008-04-28 [†Sweets†]: I still like New Zealand :P

2008-04-28 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: lol good to hear.

2008-04-28 [Balthizar]: Lots of info O.o
It's like being at school agian v.v

2008-04-29 [†Sweets†]: wow... nice...

2008-04-29 [The real life Bella Swan]: Yeah, I'm of a similar mind. I'm graduated and don't need to go back to school just yet so . . . yeah

2008-04-29 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: well fine...nesxt time I won't try to start conversation...*sniffles* though you don't have to go to school to learn new things.

2008-04-29 [Balthizar]: *tackle* Nah, I'm just messing with you xD it's fine ^^

2008-04-30 [†Sweets†]: o.0

2008-04-30 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: hehe :P

2008-05-13 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Grrr - why are homophobes so close-minded and arrogant?
Anyone have any ideas?

2008-05-13 [†Sweets†]: I hate homophobes >< they bug me >< My mom is one. We got into a huge fight over it.

2008-05-14 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: meh, if you ask me there is no point trying to convince a homophobe otherwise...instead its always nice to play on their fears....lol I love watching guys shift nervously in their seats when I tell them I swing both ways. *Sneezes* But I wanna meet a hippotomonstrosesquipedaliaphobiac hehe.

2008-05-14 [†Sweets†]: and what the fuck is that?

2008-05-14 [The real life Bella Swan]: A person with a fear of long words . . .

2008-05-14 [†Sweets†]: Really?
So they gave them a long word to describe them?

2008-05-15 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: hahaha yep, *Evil grin* after all, I am a sesquipedaliac :P knew you'd know it [The real life Bella Swan] hehe I love it when people have no idea what I'm saying, I feel most accomplished :D

2008-05-15 [†Sweets†]: ...go you, you sesquipedaliac... whatever that is...

2008-05-15 [*(.Randi.)*]: I have alektorophobia!

2008-05-15 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: sesquipedaliast is a person who uses long words all the time, sesquipedaliasm is the oer use of long words.

2008-05-15 [†Sweets†]: ...I have a fear of short heights...

2008-05-15 [Aimée-Anthráx]: So, does that mean you're afraid of me 'cos I'm like 5'4? =D lol.

2008-05-15 [*(.Randi.)*]: Ha!

2008-05-15 [†Sweets†]: XD lol. No, I can like stand on top of a house and be fine, but stand me on top of a car or a desk or something like that and I freak ><

2008-05-16 [*(.Randi.)*]: Hmm that's weird! But cool. ^^

2008-05-16 [†Sweets†]: I know, but, I also know why I'm like that ^^

2008-05-16 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: O.o I have verdigo and Arachnaphobia, Verdigo=fear of heights. and a fear of deep water...hehe if I can't see the bottom, I won't go in.

2008-05-16 [*(.Randi.)*]: I thought arachnaphobia was a fear of spiders?

2008-05-17 [†Sweets†]: ...He didn't say it wasn't... and it is...

2008-05-17 [Aimée-Anthráx]: ...I have a fear of needles, is there a fancy sounding word for that too?
Or is it just needleophobia =D

2008-05-17 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Oh, guys...I dont know if this is true but according to
iSupport MillionForMarriage.org on myspace, gay marriage is now legal in California...
But i thought it was anyway? =/

2008-05-17 [†Sweets†]: THAT'D BE AWESOME!!!

2008-05-17 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Or was it in San Fran?
Well, somthing like that anyway...
But it's only recently been legalised in Spain too ^^

2008-05-17 [†Sweets†]: YAY!!

2008-05-17 [The real life Bella Swan]: You know it makes me sad that it's a larger bother to people in this country when to gay people WHO LOVE EACH OTHER get married then someone getting a divorce after 3 days of marriage

2008-05-17 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Yeah, it really isnt right. But it can be all be boilded down to various things in our society these days, some aspects like heavily in bedded in our culture that make people think that way...
So, unfortuatly I dont think we can change that...
At least in my life time anyway.
(I dunno if that made sence? lol)

2008-05-17 [Balthizar]: It did.
Society is so set in on how it's always been
that any idea to change is met with anger and rejection
Even if it makes sense and would cause no harm.

2008-05-17 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Exactly!
Every bodys too busy judgeying and being scared of anything different that they cant actually see it's all the same...
Y'know, I reckon being gay solves more problems than being straight =D.
In my world it does anyway ^^

2008-05-18 [Balthizar]: Thats a from perpective sense. xD
To some, it would solve more problems being straight.
For me for example, it wouldnt really matter.
Who I am dating, doesnt tend ot effect most my problems.

2008-05-18 [*(.Randi.)*]: No, it's true! Gay marriage is legal in Cali.!

2008-05-18 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Yay =D, not that it makes much difference to me directly, but y'know :)

2008-05-19 [†Sweets†]: Hey, more places it becomes legal, sooner it won't even be an issue anymore.

2008-05-19 [Balthizar]: You'd like to think that.
There will always be issues
Just on smaller scales.

2008-05-19 [†Sweets†]: You don't hear much on gas prices anymore, and that's because people are getting use to it, it should be the same on this, and, in a few more generations we'll tell our grandchildren that back in our day gay marriage was not allowed, and they'll laugh at us.

2008-05-19 [The real life Bella Swan]: God, I hope so. I would love to see a day when gay couples aren't picked on or singled out anymore. But if you look at the statistics a lot of my generation (born in the late 1980's or later) are becoming more bi-minded.

2008-05-19 [Aimée-Anthráx]: Yeah, Ive found that actually. Our generation is more open and accepted, especially compared to my parents generation...
All that is next is gay adoption :)

2008-05-19 [The real life Bella Swan]: Actually, I do believe I am what they call pan-sexual. I go for personality . . . kind of a pain in the ass sometimes . . .

2008-05-19 [†Sweets†]: Nice! Do they have nice asses?

2008-05-19 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: dunno if I have a nice ass, but hey am told its a nice one...[The real life Bella Swan], do I have a nice ass?

2008-05-20 [†Sweets†]: lol

2008-05-20 [The real life Bella Swan]: I dunno. You haven't shown it to me. But then again, I'm not an ass person . . .

2008-05-20 [†Sweets†]: Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok! ^^ never mind then ^^

2008-05-20 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: Ahahaha, well, I spose you'll find out sooner or later.

2008-05-21 [†Sweets†]: Yep yep ^^

2008-05-22 [†Sweets†]: They will be like that.

2008-05-23 [The Chronicles of Faelan]: yeah, they tend to split it up like that cause otherwise it takes too long to upload onto the web.

2008-05-23 [†Sweets†]: yeah...
